Jiggy George is Founder and CEO of Dream Theatre Pvt. Ltd and a pioneer when it comes to the licensing and merchandising industry in India. Jiggy has set up and successfully run the licensing business for Turner (Cartoon Network Enterprises) and prior to that, the licensing business at Viacom (MTV).
In 2009 Jiggy founded Dream Theatre Pvt Ltd: the first professional Licensing & Brand Management enterprise in India. Over time, Dream Theatre has evolved its model from pure representation to creating their own brands and distributing merchandise.
Prior to his entrepreneurial venture, Jiggy’s corporate experience spans over 20 years. In his last avatar, Jiggy was Executive Director - Cartoon Network Enterprises, South Asia and was responsible for making it the leader in the Licensing arena in India. He also headed up the Turner Theatrical Business and the Sesame Street India Production. At MTV, Jiggy was part of a very dynamic marketing team, he headed consumer marketing and then moved on to set up the licensing division for MTV.
He started his career as a Junior fashion designer with Zodiac and then spent three years in Sales with the The Times Group, leading up to business school.
Jiggy believes in living life without boundaries. He has written for a few years as an entertainment journalist and also has a script for an animation film under his belt. He is an avid movie buff and a music lover. He plays the guitar and enjoys travel, is fascinated by art and loves understanding cultures by meeting new people across the globe.
In his effort to give back to the industry which has given so much to him, Jiggy serves as the Head of LIMA India, the global trade association for the licensing industry
