Roger Berman is president of ZenWorks Co., Ltd., a Tokyo-based company that delivers specialized license consulting, agency and marketing support services to IP owners entering Japan, East Asian and global markets. Berman has been active in global licensing for over thirty years. From 2008 to 2010, he managed LIMA Japan (currently Licensing International), the country affiliate of the global trade organisation and is currently its Operations Advisor and a past-director. Berman has contributed to many licensing and content publications including authoring the Japan chapter of the major industry guidebook, “The Business of Licensing”. Berman has lived in Japan since 1984 and is bilingual in Japanese.
