ROB CORNEY is a twenty year veteran of the licensing industry and is the Group Managing Director and CEO of Bulldog Licensing, the company he founded fourteen years ago.
Having started his career on a Graduate Scheme with ITV, the UK’s leading commercial broadcaster, Rob quickly went on to run the licensing programmes behind hit brands such as Thunderbirds, I’m a Celebrity… Get me out of Here and both Liverpool and Arsenal football clubs.
Moving to the European office of 4kids Entertainment, Rob was responsible for delivering the UK and European licensing programmes behind brands including TMNT, Pokemon and Nintendo and was instrumental in developing the licensing programme for the Royal Air Force (now HM Armed Forces).
Having formed Bulldog in February 2007, Rob has steered the company from start-up to one of the leading licensing agencies in the industry, representing the rights to some of the world’s leading brands including Sesame Street, Care Bears, Kindi Kids, Shopkins, Electronic Arts and Miraculous: the Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir.
Maintaining a keen focus on the development of brands through retail communications and careful, strategic management has built a worldwide reputation for the company in which Rob remains a hands-on team member, believing in the necessity of driving business growth through the direct control and management of the licensing process
