Marie Claire, the French Beauty and fashion magazine has collaborated with Optiline Eyewear to launch Marie Claire collection of Eyewear. The collaboration was facilitated by Bradford License India, the official representative for Marie Claire in India.
Marie Claire Eyewear collection follows the French magazine’s successful foray into the consumer products space across core fashion categories – Apparel and fashion accessories.
The ‘Marie Claire’ eyewear collection includes both sun-glasses and opticals.
Priced from Rs. 2,950 to Rs. 3,850, the Marie Claire eyewear collection will be available on Flipkart.com. The collection offers chic shapes, styles and colors in vogue with an international look and feel. Saturated colours, neutral watered-down color tones add to the subtle, yet refined look.
Speaking about the Marie Claire Eyewear collection, Roberto Bre, Director, Private Collection & Co. said, “Optiline Eyewear has done a fantastic job and we are very happy to work with them.
In terms of collection, we want to be at affordable price points with an imprint of style and quality.”
The launch of eyewear is a part of Private Collection’s plans to add more categories to Marie Claire’s range of fashion offerings for women.
“Marie Claire is very popular brand in women segment. They are becoming quite aggressive and increasing the presence in global markets. With such brand presence, and more categories opening up, that kind of brand recognition translates into better presence in optical outlets,” said Jatin Shah, Director, Optiline Eyewear Pvt. Ltd.
“We have tried to make great products imbibing the DNA of Marie Claire. The team at Marie Claire has entirely supported us in marketing,” added Shah.
Marie Claire marked its presence in Indian retail in 2016. So far, the brand has done successful extensions with Harpa for women’s apparel and Rubans for fashion jewellery.
