Spanish fashion expert, Grupo Cortefiel has joined hands with King Features to launch a collection of Betty Boop clothing and lingerie. The new range will launch across Grupo Cortefiel’s Women’s Secret lingerie and sleepwear stores throughout Europe, Latin America the Middle East and parts of Asia.
Inspired by the fashion icon, the range will encompass pajamas, nightshirts, nightdresses, t-shirts, pant, shorts, sweatshirts, dressing gowns, bras and briefs, as well as vanity cases, hair accessories and slippers. The range follows the 2012 launch of Women’s Secret Olive Oyl collection.
“We are thrilled to partner again with Women’s Secret after our successful Olive Oyl collaboration in 2012,” said Cathleen Titus, vice president of international licensing for King Features.
“Cortefiel has given Betty the soft feminie treatment that is so well suited to the Women’s Secret customer and to the Betty Boop brand itself,” he added.
King Features is the exclusive worldwide licensing agent for Betty Boop, working closely with Fleischer Studios to take Betty Boop across the globe.
