Gaming companies like Zapak, Indiagames or Games2win are experiencing a notable increase in their business, having launched a series of games around the World Cup in the last few days and are already witnessing a double digit growth with regards to their unit sales, game downloads and popularity.

Zapak Games launched the game with 25,000 units across the country and plans to put in another 25,000 units during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 in all leading stores, looking at the increased demand just within a week of the launch. However at UTV Indiagames, a new series of Cricket— Cricket WorldCup Fever along with their popular game—Cricket T20fever have been launched recently at new platforms.

Thus, UTV Indiagames have successfully established games across both traditional and new-age platforms for gaming in the mobile as well as online space. The Cricket fever around World Cup is proving to be a win-win situation for gamers as well as Gaming Companies.
