India’s fastest-growing lingerie brand Clovia has signed a new licensing partnership with The Emoji Company. With this agreement, Clovia has launched its latest collection of nightwear and briefs with emoji characters.
The new collection is aimed at millennials and their continued engagement with emoji’s vast library of icons.
Marco Hüsges, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, The Emoji Company, said, “Clovia is known for its high quality, and cool design for women’s fashions, and the emoji brand is all about expression, so this was an exciting alliance.”
Clovia’s new collection is crafted from soft breathable cotton fabric. Its nightwear emoji collection consists of full-sleeve tops and pyjama sets with season-inspired slogans and emoji icons to complement.
Suman Chaudhary, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Clovia, stated, “Clovia and emoji gel as the two brands resonate with each other. Both Clovia and emoji stand for spreading joy and smiles. This collaboration is a cross-promotion as Clovia is using emoji tags in their latest Christmas/New Year collection.”

Clovia’s emoji collection will be available on its website and retail outlets across India.
Presently, the lingerie brand has around 15 exclusive stores. It is also available in around 250 multi-brand outlets and shop-in-shops. Clovia had reported revenue of Rs 52 crore for the fiscal year 2017-18 with a net loss of Rs 9 crore.
