BIBA, Indian wear brand added another interesting designer collaboration to its portfolio by announcing a collection with the renowned and award-winning designer Ms. Anju Modi.

Anju Modi – the Bajirao Mastani and Ram Leela fame costume designer has designed an exquisite festive collection which is going to be availableatselect BIBA stores and is smartly priced, ranging from Rs 5,995 to Rs 29,950.

Speaking on the association, Mr. Siddharath Bindra, MD, BIBA said, “It’s an honor to partner with Anju Modi and come up with an occasion wear collection for our customers this festive season. Every year BIBA works on offering something new and stylish and with this partnership we have her unique style married with Biba’s aesthetics beautifully. It is our endeavor to make this designer range available to a larger audience through our network and look forward to a great response from our patrons.”

Over the last few years, BIBA has been adding layers to its portfolio  – whether its adding new verticals like the BIBA Jewelry and BIBA Girls or tying up with designers to offer something new and exciting to its customer base.

BIBA by Anju Modi’ is going to be premium collection designed to tap the niche premium ethnic wear segment in the country. The collection is a fine amalgamation of Anju Modi’s signature design sensibility and BIBA’s ethnic brand lineage which is ideal for the upcoming festive season. The range comprises of metallic and floral prints, intricate hand embroidery and fine zari work on pure fine fabrics like silk, chanderi, velvet and modal.

Speaking on the association, Anju Modi said, “Working with BIBA has been great- as this association has allowed me to showcase my designs across the massive retail network of Brand BIBA. BIBA enjoys a great geographical spread and this partnership allows many more people to experience my designs and I am really excited and looking forward to a fruitful and a meaningful association going forward.”   

The Brand has been on an exciting brand journey and growth since it came into existence nearly three decades back, starting from tying with designers such as Rohit Bal, Manish Arora and launching a Indie Mickey range earlier this year, by continuously adding new verticals, expanding and strengthening its position in all parts of the country to emerge as one of the most successful ethnic brand in the country.
